Archery WebQuest

Before we jump into shooting a bow and arrow its important to learn about the basics. What do you know about Archery? Sure you might be able to pick up a bow and arrow and shoot at a target, but lets get deeper into the subject. Lets explore through these various websites the history, disciplines, Olympic games, and hunting regulations of archery.

1. Work with a partner to read each website below. Sometimes you will be asked to read an entire page, sometimes you will be asked to skim for information, other times you might search a website for information. You will need to work with your partner to accomplish all this within the period. Manage your time and good luck!

2. Click on each link below in order to answer the questions in full on your study guide. Use complete sentences.
3. After you have completed the worksheet and answered all the questions check over your work. Look for complete sentences and clear penmanship. If we can't read it we will not grade it.
4. Go back to the main blog page and take the poll on the webquest.

    Hello Parents and Knights!
    Changes:
    1
. Physical Education Uniforms for sale $15 for high quality t-shirts and shorts both with knights logo. Made for name to be put on the shirt ensuring your son/ daughter does not "lose" their dress down clothes. Uniforms are not required this year but are a strong suggestion for all students.
    2. Health Education. Mr. Palmer has teamed up with Mr. Elam and Ms. Price in order to have an outstanding health curriculum this year. Each student will have three weeks of health every quarter.
    3. Each grade has their own pe/ health time. 6th graders will be in P.E. and health 1st and 8th period, 7th is during 4th block, and 8th is during 6th block.
    4. Sports- pay to play. There are two fees associated with sport participation, 1. A.S.B. card cost $25 this not only allows them to participate but allows free entry into many of the school dances and functions, 2. $25 pay to play fee. It cost $25 per sport and up to $50 for the year.
