1. Dress Down
2. IA - Grab 1 partner &1 volleyball.

  • Get into push-up position, 5 feet away from your partner, facing each other.
  • Roll ball back & forth 50 times with your partner.
  • Jog around the gym until the whistle blows.

3. Warm-up/Stretch

4. Grab your portfolio and volleyball sheet

5. Intro/ Rules/ Fitness Rubric

6. Forearm pass practice.

  • Toss to partner who starts on a knee, progress to standing, moving feet, side to side

Tuesday

1. Dress Down
2. IA - Forearm pass back & forth with partner. Everytime the ball hits the groud, both partners have 2 push-ups. Once you get to 12 push-ups, start doing sit-ups. Max. 20 sit-ups. Jog around gym when finished until whistle.

Wednesday (Advisory)

1. Dress Down
2. IA - Get into a group of 6-8. Get into a circle. Bump or set the ball around the circle. Every time the ball hits the ground, each group member does 2 push-ups or 4 sit-ups.
3. Warm-up/Stretch - PE people grab portfolios/Serve sheet

4. Bump/Set with a partner.

  • Defender may not touch a ball in the air. May only grab it after it hits the ground.

Thursday

1. Dress Down
2. IA -

  • Push-up Pass
    • Get into a push-up position about 5 feet from partner facing each other. Remember, keep body like a board.
    • Push ball back and forth 75 time
  • Sit-up Pass
    • One partner starts in a down sit-up position about 5 feet from other partner who is in an up sit-up position.
    • Partner who is down has a VB in their hands. When they sit up, they pass the ball to partner 2 who then does a sit-up. 25 sit-ups a piece.
  • Jog around gym until whistle.

3. Warm-up/Stretch

4. Health people go to health. PE people grab portfolios/marker.

5. Partner practice of previous lessons (serve/bump/set)
